The Final Touch

Casual dressing can be bold or minimalist. Either way, a cool, contemporary jacket adds an extra dimension.

Dolce & Gabbana

The graphic tee is great but check out the jacket! Made in Italy, its nylon body is enhanced with supple lambskin leather panels on the shoulders, sleeves and trim, not to mention zippered cuffs and an elasticized hemline. We think it’s a very cool new take on the classic bomber.

BOSS calls its pure wool Noswen jacket a blazer but, frankly, it feels more like a shirt, slim-cut and streamlined and every bit as comfortable as it looks. It works particularly well with the minimalist pairing of a white T-shirt and tapered virgin wool jogging pants.

These days, a leather biker jacket should be sleek, not clunky. DIESEL’s glossy black sheepskin version certainly is. Quilted shoulders and ribbing on the sleeves and placket add visual texture while adjustable tabs on the side hemline let you customize the fit. What a way to add panache to a casual outfit!

Which catches your attention most – the windbreaker or the knit? The jacket features Moncler’s signature red, white and blue striped trim – and its name printed boldly down the right arm. The ribbed cotton knit blows up the stripes. But why choose? They both look so great together.

Have it both ways… Versace’s new bomber is reversible – one side minimal matte black, the other sporting the brand’s iconic geometric print in navy. Wear it over something as casual as these drawstring joggers and super-comfortable sweatshirt and you pull the whole look together.
