The Wedding Guide for Grooms

Since 1954, we’ve been helping grooms look their best on their biggest days. Formal wear and wedding attire have been specialties of ours for generations. So, when it comes to your wedding, you can have full faith we can help do the same for you.

Getting Started

Once you’ve sorted out all the mundane details — like the venue, the menu, and who your future spouse will be — it’s time to get to the good stuff; what you’re going to wear. Ideally, we encourage you to book an appointment with one of our seasoned Clothing Advisors well in advance of your wedding date to discuss your vision and ensure we’re able to help you pull it off.

Ready-Made Memories

Alternatively, if you’re somewhat shorter on time, we also carry a host of ready-to-wear options as well. Leveraging plenty of good taste and a keen eye for alterations, our team will have your off-the-rack suit, tuxedo, or cocktail jacket ready for you in time for the big day, looking every bit as impressive as you imagined.

The Custom Experience

Dream weddings aren’t something every man fantasizes about, but when it comes to what he’s wearing, it should always be carefully considered. If you have an inkling of inspiration or a super-specific idea of what you want to look like at the end of the aisle, then going the custom-made route is heavily advised.

Between tuxedos, suits, cocktail jackets, formal dress shirts, and much more, we offer a wide range of made-to-measure models from many of our most desirable tailoring brands. Whatever you need to bring your vision to life, we can help you make it happen. However, grooms must note the made-to-measure process can take up to four or five weeks to complete given the customization options available.

From custom-made suits to sartorially inspired tracksuits, from your ideal dress shirt to the overshirt, from bomber jackets to trench coats to overcoats, and more; HAROLD’s selection of customizable garments will suit your every need.

Going Bespoke

Bespoke is the ultimate custom tailoring experience and one we proudly offer at Harry Rosen. Our bespoke services start with a one-on-one consultation with our best tailors, who then create your entirely custom garment from scratch to fit your body and your vision as precisely as possible.

If you only ever had one suit, it should be bespoke, though grooms should keep in mind this process takes the longest to complete — about six weeks in total considering the average suit takes ~28 hours of hand work to finish along with one or two additional fittings throughout the process.
