“To me, pride means being able to show up as your authentic self while respecting and celebrating the individuality of others.”
“As a stylist at Harry Rosen, I live with pride by helping people feel confident, comfortable, and truly themselves through fashion. Creating an inclusive and welcoming experience for every client is something that’s very important to me.”
Q. In three words, how would you describe your personal style — today and over time?
A.
Relaxed, fashion-forward, and toned-down. Over time, my style has evolved from bolder statement pieces to more toned-down colours and refined silhouettes, while still keeping that vintage influence and personality in the way I dress.
“This look feels elevated but still very versatile, which is something I naturally gravitate toward in my everyday style.”
“I like the mix of warm brown tones with the soft baby blue accents, it feels polished without being too formal. The jacket can be styled with the dress shirt and tie for work, or dressed down with the knitted polo and a T-shirt underneath for a more relaxed look.”
“It’s the kind of outfit I could wear to work, then easily transition into dinner, a date night, or even the theatre afterward.”
“Pride, to me, means being my authentic self without fear of judgment, persecution, or being treated differently. It’s about equality, knowing I deserve the same respect and space as anyone else in society.”
“I live with pride by showing up as myself every day, whether at work, with family, or with friends. Even when it’s difficult, I choose to be honest about who I am and have the courage to stand in that truth.”
Q. How does your wardrobe help you express who you are?
A.
My wardrobe helps me show up in the world with intention and thoughtfulness and sometimes a bit of flare!
“I would wear these pieces every day, integrating them with more formal pieces, like trousers or a sport jacket for work, or with jeans and a street-style jacket on the weekend.”
“For me, pride is a celebration of visibility, identity, and community. Pride magnifies voices within the queer community that have fought to be heard and seen, lifting each other up and unifying one another.”

“I'd wear this look as a day-to-night outfit. The elevated casual style would make it easy to transition from doing something like exploring the city to grabbing a late-night bite with friends.”
“Pride, to me, means embracing your identity and being unapologetically proud of who you are. To live with pride means having a strong inner core: believing in yourself, taking responsibility for your own happiness, and not being defined by other people’s opinions.”
“It’s about learning to accept and embrace yourself while also showing compassion and acceptance toward others. Every colour is beautiful, and every person deserves to be seen, respected, and celebrated.”
Q. How does your wardrobe help you express who you are?
A.
My wardrobe is a reflection of both my personality and my mindset. I’m drawn to pieces that feel effortless, expressive, and intentional — styles that allow me to feel confident while still being authentically myself. Over time, fashion has become less about following trends and more about telling my own story, expressing my mood, creativity, and individuality through what I wear.
“I’d wear the full look in different ways depending on the occasion. Without the jacket, the outfit feels relaxed, expressive, and perfect for summer social settings — like weekend outings, dinners, vacations, or casual parties.”
“For more everyday wear, I’d switch the shirt to a simpler, low-key style: a plain, light-coloured casual shirt without patterns.”
“Adding the jacket would then make the outfit feel more polished and versatile, suitable for business casual settings, workdays, client meetings, or more formal dining occasions while still maintaining a clean and stylish appearance.”
“Pride means to live authentically and allow my true self to be shown to the world. It means to be brave and let the world see who I really am.”
Q. In three words, how would you describe your personal style — today and over time?
A.
Relaxed, authentic, elevated — it has become more refined and curated over time, and I've become more confident in trying out new trends and styles.
“This look feels summery, refined, light, and a bit playful. I'd wear it out to brunch, for patio drinks with friends, or to a summery pool-side social event.”
