At Harry Rosen, our purpose is clear; we empower every man to look and feel his best on every occasion through the power of clothing, and in this instance, specifically through the power of custom-made tailoring.

Harold, our private tailoring label, allows you to fully express your personality through style, not only providing you with the ability to choose your preferred fabrics, linings, buttons, stylistic details, and overall construction, but also through the way you want it to fit you. In short, Harold allows you the freedom to shape your identity — one stitch at a time.

During Pride month, the ability to express one’s individuality and authentic self is of the utmost importance, which is why we chose to celebrate the occasion by helping 2SLGBTQIA+ members from our very own Harry Rosen staff do just that.

By gifting select staff members custom-made Harold garments, we allowed them to practice the very same values of individuality and self-expression through style that we have stood for throughout our more than 70-year history. Here, they have the chance to showcase their custom creations as well as share the ways in which their personal style impacts their lives.

Q: How do you use style to show the world who you are?

A: Style is my mood board in motion. Some days it's bold, some days it's effortless, but it’s always me. I use style to express who I am, how I feel, and remind the world that identity isn’t static, it’s meant to evolve, just like a great outfit.

Q: What makes this jacket feel like it was made for you?

A: This jacket feels made for me because it does exactly what I love to do with my style — it blends the timeless with the unexpected. I’m all about the mix: classic tailoring one day, fashion forward the next. This piece gets that balance just right — it’s versatile, bold, and 100% me.

Q: How do you use style to show the world who you are?

A: I use style to demonstrate the freedom of expression of my personality and queerness. It also allows me to express my mood and how I feel, allowing my uniqueness to shine.

Q: What makes this jacket feel like it was made for you?

A: I wanted to create a jacket that was uniquely me and couldn't be found off the rack. Choosing my favourite colours, gold trimmings, and the inside lining featuring books, allowed me to express myself.

Q: How do you use style to show the world who you are?

A: Style is my quiet confidence; I believe in the power of simplicity. My style reflects balance: strong yet soft, refined yet approachable. It’s how I show up fully as myself, with intention and authenticity.

Q: What makes this jacket feel like it was made for you?

A: Because it was — thoughtfully and personally. The grey check reflects my style, the green lining is my signature, and the custom Pride embroidery makes it meaningful. It’s me, in every detail.

Q: How do you use style to show the world who you are?

A: Style is my handshake before I even speak. I use it to say, “Yes, I mean business — but I also know where to find the best espresso in the city.” Mixing tailored pieces with unexpected elements like a cap or a zip-up gives people a hint that I like structure, but I live in spontaneity. It’s equal parts curated and chill — just like me.

Q: What makes this jacket feel like it was made for you?

A: It’s the kind of jacket that doesn’t just fit — it gets me. Clean lines, a strong shoulder, and just the right texture to say, “I pay attention to detail,” without screaming it. I can throw it over a hoodie, a polo, or even a t-shirt, and it holds its own. That kind of versatility? That’s personal. That’s power.
