PEACOCKING AT PITTI

Pitti Immagine Uomo is the world's most important platform for men's clothing and accessory collections – and for launching new projects in men's fashion. Held in Florence twice a year, it has prominently transformed into a true peacock parade. Ensure your accompanying ensembles are made-to- measure. Consider an array of tailored suits and sports jackets from the world's leading menswear designers. Canali. Emporio Armani. Samuelsohn. Tiger of Sweden. TOM FORD. Their duds will definitely turn heads. Better yet, be bold and bring your own bespoke vision to life. Harry Rosen’s very own in-house label, HAROLD, will let you customize every detail. Of course, to be a true Pitti peacock, the fundamental finishing touches exist in your accessories. Hats, Scarves. Gloves. Cufflinks. Leather accoutrements like belts, wallets, briefcases and luggage, too.

Just be certain they are all acquired from the most in-demand imprints!

SUNDANCE SNOWBIRD STYLE

The Sundance Film Festival invites the most original storytellers and adventurous audiences for its annual program (and premieres) of groundbreaking work. And with Utah’s oft-inclement elements rarely absent throughout the esteemed event, it continues to be an occasion for you to sport a winning winter look. Beyond bringing lots of layers, entertain outerwear options manufactured with luxury in mind. Every Canada Goose collection is informed by the rugged demands of the Arctic, ensuring a legacy of functionality gets embedded in every product. Even if they aren’t exactly red- carpet ready, one of their best-selling parkas or weatherproof coats should do.

For a more fashion-forward item or two to include with your wardrobe, MooRER’s down-filled jackets are exceptionally practical and visually appealing. Likewise, Moncler and Mackage’s puffers have remained a voguish favourite one snowy season after the next. In addition to being robust technical outerwear options that keep you sheltered – from the slopes to the sidewalks – they are easy on the eye.

The goal here is to remain as dry as dapper, and as warm as with it.

BRANDED BASEL

Art Basel in Miami Beach ranks as the premier art show of the Americas. It attracts leading collectors, curators, museum directors and critics from across the globe. Over recent editions, it has further added a fashion component, sizzling with the latest in street style.

Stuff your suitcase with the smartest streetwear brands on the planet. Crafted from pure cotton and cut slim for a flattering fit, Bastille graphic tees boast eye-catching designs that play on pop culture, from films to sports to art. Alternatively, Officine Générale’s reliable, versatile and sophisticated staples are full of attitude and personality, enriched with an appreciation for realism.

Hoping to haul something haute? Hugo Boss’ more urban HUGO line combines a casual, comfortable aesthetic with fashion-conscious construction. Meanwhile, Versace Jeans Couture is currently redefining the Italian house’s world with the likes of cozy hoodies and tees, sleek bomber jackets and plush cotton joggers emblazoned with the company’s signature Barocco design. You can even reverse a few of their bombers for a classic all-over Versace print.

Just beware of one thing: though logos are a central aspect of traditional streetwear, it’s always advisable to make sure the logos don’t wear you.

BEST-KEPT SECRET: CATTOLICA

While shooting this issue, our team had the great pleasure to visit the seaside region of Rimini and “the Queen of the Adriatic Sea” – the town of Cattolica.

Known for its award- winning beaches, historic town centre and beautiful tree-lined streets, it’s a lively yet under-the-radar spot.

Thousands of cyclists choose Cattolica as a base to explore the hills around the nearby Republic of San Marino and the village of Mondaino (known for its famous Fossa cheese). Once you return to town, you’ll want to try the freshly-caught fish at any of the town’s seafood restaurants, as well as the mollusks (two natural oyster beds lie just off the coast).

Order a glass of Sangiovese wine and pat yourself on the back for avoiding the crowded Mediterranean coast. You’ve done well. - Ben K.
