More recently, however, the Vancouver-based brand has adopted a slightly different design ethos: one that still prioritizes performance and delivers during your workout, though also features pieces with a more refined, everyday appeal for life outside the field, court, gym, or track.

Reigning Champ’s motto, “Respect the details. Reigning Champ’s motto, while Reigning Champ hasn’t exactly traded sweatsuits for tailored suits, there are a few key new arrivals (that still sit alongside its familiar favourites) that define the brand’s sophisticated new styling approach.

Coach Pants
A true day-to-night essential, the new Coach Pants were designed to offer you the comfort of a jogger with the look of a chino, made to take you from your pre-work dog walk to post-work drinks.
Crafted from a stretch-knit fabric for maximum comfort and movement, the Coach Pants also feature more traditional details — like a front zipper fly, button closure, side seam pockets, belt loops, and back welt pockets — making it easy to wear for both work and play.
Overcoats
A herringbone wool overcoat? Reigning Champ has tried its hand at it — and has pulled it off with aplomb. Cut from a luxurious heavyweight wool blend featuring both virgin wool and cashmere, this handsome mid-length coat looks (and feels) equally at home worn overtop a suit as it does a sweater and jeans.
Don’t worry, your favourite hoodies and sweatshirts haven’t gone anywhere — those fan favourites are here to stay. However, you can also look to Reigning Champ for sweaters and knitwear that wouldn’t look out-of-place at a board meeting or dinner table.
This season, we’re particularly fond of the new knits, such as the cardigans (with shawl collar and V-neck options), quarter-zips, crewnecks, and Henleys — all crafted from premium materials including extra fine Merino wool and textured Slub cotton.
Synonymous with classic Ivy style, an Oxford cloth button-down shirt has been a wardrobe staple for decades, and now, Reigning Champ offers its iteration as well.
Available in classic white and pale blue colours, the sturdy 100% cotton Oxford shirts include every detail you’d expect from a great button-up: a traditional silhouette, button-down collars, side gussets, chest pocket, curved hem, full placket, and a collar roll full of personality.
