Over 70 years ago in a modest, 500-square-foot space within the sleepy residential neighbourhood of Cabbagetown, Toronto, an individual by the name of Harry Rosen, alongside his brother Lou, opened a made-to-measure menswear boutique to serve the denizens of the bustling city.
One by one, Harry earned the trust of his customers through exceptional service, top-quality product, and an undying ambition to become the best in the business. One by one, men across the city and, eventually, men across Canada, would come to know the name Harry Rosen.
Today, with 18 stores across the country and a burgeoning ecommerce presence across two banners (harryrosen.com and shopfinalcut.com), we’re proud to have remained an authentically Canadian-owned and –operated company, not to mention a family-owned and –operated company (and especially one that exclusively services Canada). Following in the footsteps of our founder, Harry, is his son, Larry, and grandsons Ian and Graham, who continue to lead the company toward a bright future.
As our family business has grown over the years, we’ve been able to support, source, and celebrate fellow Canadian brands that we’ve admired and aligned to our brand values, championing their stories and promoting their products. Nothing has made us prouder than supporting homegrown talent like Canada Goose, Patrick Assaraf, and Samuelsohn, who shine not just domestically, but on the international menswear stage.
