About Our Founder, Harry Rosen
Harry Rosen, one of Canada's most trusted and innovative retailers, opened his first store in 1954 after gaining experience in a men's clothing store and a clothing factory.
These early experiences helped him understand the composition of clothing and, more importantly, about what men wanted to wear. After leading the company for 51 years, Harry stepped back from daily operations in 2005.
Although he passed away in December 2023, his legacy continues at the company through his family's succession and the brand's ethos.

Harry Rosen began in Toronto’s Cabbagetown neighbourhood in 1954 when Harry and his brother Lou opened a small 500 sq. ft. made-to-measure menswear store.
Harry’s vision was to create a specialty men’s store that exemplifies service, advice, quality, and individual style. Harry believed in dressing a man well from head to toe and was meticulous about the perfect fit.

Larry Rosen
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Eldest son of Harry, Larry Rosen, has worked for the company for more than 35 years in many different areas: on the sales floor, as a buyer, and in corporate development. In 2000, Larry was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Ian Rosen
President & Chief Operating Officer
Continuing his family's legacy, Larry's eldest son Ian now represents the third generation of the Rosen family, Ian's current role as President and COO sees him work closely with the EVPs of Marketing, Merchandise, Operations, and IT. Additionally, Ian also acts as a public spokesman for the organization, guiding Harry Rosen's corporate strategy from the forefront.
Graham Rosen
EVP, Strategy & Corporate Development
Another third-generation member of the Rosen family, Larry’s son Graham Rosen is responsible for strategy and corporate development. With a background in management consulting for Fortune 500 companies, Graham brings leadership and experience to his executive role.
