Situated in the heart of Toronto’s bustling downtown core, our Bay Street shop at First Canadian Place (FCP) recently underwent a massive multi-million dollar renovation.

Our new look is designed to appeal to a new generation of accountants, bankers, lawyers and other professionals with a more modern outlook. “The customer of the financial district has changed,” explains Luis Garcia, general sales manager of Harry Rosen FCP. “They’re increasingly interested in unique products and custom details. The one thing that hasn’t changed is their value in personalized, expert one-on-one service, which remains our greatest strength.”

Our upgraded shop features earthy sand, wood and stone hues within a contemporary space that conveys masculine refinement. “The improved First Canadian Place store is a state-of-the-art masterpiece,” notes CEO Larry Rosen. “The lower level is so modern and hip to appeal to the new younger man on Bay Street, and the upper level exudes the sartorial elegance of the world’s greatest menswear stores.”

One of the most eye-catching transformations is the shoe department which was expanded to reflect the demand for richer and bolder footwear choices. “The shoe shop been moved upstairs to a larger, more prominent space,” explains Luis. “The new environment has a sophisticated attitude that mirrors the elevated footwear guys are gravitating towards. We now carry fashion-forward, luxury labels like Santoni, Ermenegildo Zenga and Lanvin. We offer a complete line-up of distinctive styles and brands that professionals are excited to wear.”

The largest Eton shop in North America was also unveiled to celebrate the Scandinavian brand’s smart shirting and accessories. “In the downtown core, men really respond to Eton’s performance fabrics and fashionable patterns,” says Luis. “Here we’re taking things to the next level by introducing Eton’s interactive customization technology. The shop’s new innovative touchscreen allows you to easily select from an impressive array of colours and prints. This tool also takes measurements like arm length into consideration to achieve the perfect fit. You now have the option of designing a one-of-a-kind Eton dress shirt.”

On the lower level we’ve introduced the world’s first Atelier Munro shop showcasing the full line of Custom-Crafted Menswear. This includes the new to Harry Rosen Sartorial Collection that’s made in Italy and the (DYO) Design Your Own Collection that offers personalized suits at our most entry-level pricing. The airy white space also features the Amsterdam-based brand’s new made-to-measure footwear service. Here men can play the role of cobbler and choose from dress shoes, boots, sneakers and loafers offered in a variety of premium materials to craft a pair of shoes that are completely their own.

This is really a sartorial playground, complete with innovative touchscreens installed so you can browse an almost endless numbers of textures, colours and style variations. Beyond suits and sports jackets, Munro offers completely customizable shirts, ties and pocket squares to ensure a personalized look from head-to-toe. As Luis notes, “Our Atelier Munro shop offers everything you need for a smart wardrobe that’s been crafted just for you.”

The shop is offset by glossy black trim for a polished look that’s quintessentially Hugo Boss. “It’s has been one of our core collections for many years, the premium quality really speaks to our Bay Street customers,” explains Luis. “We’ve created this welcoming new space and increased our offerings to include categories like tuxedos. We’re dedicated to giving our clients the best of the best.”
