Harry Rosen prides itself on offering an array of services to assist men in selecting clothing that perfectly fits their individual requirements. Rest assured that whether you are shopping with us in-store and/or online, your satisfaction and enjoyment is important to us.
Whether you prefer to shop online, in-store, or both, we are committed to serving you. Our clothing advisors are fully trained, like personal shoppers, to offer menswear advice and expertise appropriate to any occasion. With a keen eye to discerning your taste and style, they can recommend designers and collections that may be of appeal, and offer useful tips and suggestions. Our advisors pride themselves on their product knowledge and wish to share their expertise.
Many of our customers have their own “go-to” guy or woman whom they can consult with on a regular basis, identifying areas in their wardrobe that need additions and/or changes, finding the right outfit for a particular occasion. Our clothing advisors know what is appropriate to the occasion and look forward to making that wedding, birthday celebration, job interview, whatever the situation, a sartorial success.
For those who prefer to shop with more than one advisor and at more than one store, our service is legendary and consistent across the country. If you don’t have a clothing advisor and would like to be introduced to someone who can assist you, or have arrangements made prior to going the store, please use our Book Appointment feature or contact our Online Assistance team. One of our team members will make arrangements with the store’s clothing advisor that would be most appropriate for you.
Booking an Appointment
Many of our customers prefer working one-on-one with a clothing advisor, whom they can book an appointment with. At the appointment, their advisor will have suggestions ready to augment your wardrobe. In addition, your advisor will ensure that you are properly fitted for tailored clothing.
You can use our Book Appointment feature to make arrangements prior to going into the store to ensure the most efficient service. If you do not have a regular clothing advisor, the store associates will schedule the appointment with an advisor that would be most appropriate for you.
Returns & Exchanges
Whether you shop in-store, online or are a gift recipient, if one of our garments fails to live up to reasonable expectations in any way, we invite you to return it. Whether we need to repair it, replace it or refund your money, we will happily do whatever is required to give satisfaction. We offer the convenience of returning and exchanging items in person at any one of our 16 Harry Rosen retail store locations, with the exception of our Heartland Outlet Vaughan Mills location. Please have your original invoice on hand to help us expedite your visit.
Complimentary alterations on regular price merchandise available in-store.
We do charge for alterations on sale merchandise; hems on bottoms are complimentary.
For Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum Elite clients of our Sartoria Recognition Program, all alterations are complimentary.
Charges for alterations on sale merchandise will not exceed $50 per suit, $35 per sports jacket or outerwear piece, or $15 per trouser or shirt.
If you need to replace a button or mend a hem that has come loose, please contact your closest Harry Rosen location for these quick repairs.
If you need a clean shirt (without the coffee you just spilled on it) for your next meeting, or a pair of dry socks, please contact any one of our stores for these quick replacements.
Gift Receipts & Wrapping
Just ask for a gift receipt and it can be placed in an envelope tucked into the box for your gift recipient. We always have gift boxes, tissue and ribbon on hand.
Gift Cards & Electronic Gift Cards
For those difficult men on your list or for men who simply prefer to choose for themselves, may we suggest our Gift Card or Electronic Gift Cards sent by email. Gift cards are packaged in individual boxes unless otherwise specified.
Gift cards and electronic gift cards can be used online or at any one of our 17 store locations, including the outlet store.
While we show a selection of tailored clothing online, we prefer our customers to shop in-store for these items: inevitably they require the expert care of one of our clothing advisors to ensure the proper fit and such details as sleeve length, cuff, hem, etc. If something catches your eye online, we suggest that you e-mail your clothing advisor the product page, book an appointment, or contact your advisor by phone, e-mail or text. If you don’t have a clothing advisor, simply contact email@example.com and one of our team can arrange for a clothing advisor at the closet store location to you.
Made-to-Measure Tailored Clothing
Made-to-measure suits, sports jackets, trousers and dress shirts may well be the answer for men who find ready-to-wear a difficult fit, or prefer to select their own fabric, styling and pattern. Designers such as Coppley, Ermenegildo Zegna, Isaia and J.P. Tilford by Samuelsohn offer made-to-measure services year-round; these garments are sold at a slight premium over ready-to-wear.
In addition, our special events feature both ready-to-wear and made-to-measure collections in the spring and the fall – with additional made-to-measure fabrics available and the opportunity to speak to the representatives of the collections. Some of these brands offer special savings on made-to-measure products at that time.

Bespoke tailoring is a handsewn garment, custom-made in the tradition of London’s Savile Row. The creation of your own garment starts when a master tailor measures you for a pattern that will serve as a blueprint for all your future needs. Attention to detail – fabric, stitching, button selection, canvas lapels – is what makes bespoke tailoring coveted by the discerning gentleman.
We offer bespoke tailoring at our Bloor Street location.

Lifetime Maintenance Guarantee for your Tailored Clothing
We want to ensure that you look and feel your best in every garment you purchase from us. That’s why we provide complimentary maintenance and repairs to you, the original owner, for the lifetime of the garment. If you ever find yourself in need of having a button replaced, a seam fixed, or other minor repairs, simply bring the item to any one of our stores where professional tailors will attend to it as soon as possible (let us know if you’re in a hurry), on-site and free of charge. What’s more, should your garment require alterations due to weight loss or weight gain, we make the necessary adjustments for you to the maximum of one size up or down, also at no charge. All that we ask, in respect to our professional tailors, is that you have the garment dry-cleaned before bringing it in for either of these services.
